The 3656 and 3756 S-Group pumps from Goulds Water Technology have been designed with technical benefits to meet the needs of users in a variety of water supply, recirculation, and cooling applications.

  • The model 3656 offers close coupled design for space saving and simplified maintenance.
  • The model 3756 offers a bearing frame mounted design for flexibility of installation and drive arrangements.
  • Back pull-out to reduce maintenance down time.
  • Standard Type 21 mechanical seal for both reliability and availability. Carbon/ceramic/ BUNA standard, with other faces and elastomers available.
  • 3656/3756 available in all iron, bronze fitted or all bronze construction for application versatility.
  • Replaceable wearing components include stainless steel shaft sleeve and casing and hub wear rings to maintain peak efficiency.
  • Packed box sealing is also available as an option.
  • Enclosed impeller design, dynamic balancing and renewable wear rings reduce losses affecting performance and pump life.
  • Suction and discharge pipe connections are NPT threaded, except 3 x 4 7 which has 125 lb. ANSI flat faced flanges.
  • Rigid cast iron motor adapter provides support and registered fits maintain positive unit alignment.
  • Standard NEMA motor frame, JM or JP shaft extension, C-face mounting, single phase or three phase, 3500 or 1750 RPM. Open drip proof and totally enclosed fan cooled.
  • Optional explosion proof or high efficiency motors available.
  • Optional rigid carbon steel bedplate, sheet metal coupling guard and T. B. Woods spacer coupling for 3756 models

GOULDS 1GA/2GA 1½″ and 2″ and 1GA(X)/2GA(X) Grinder Pumps

The Goulds Water Technology RGS is a residential wastewater grinder pump is capable of grinding sewage in individual residential applications. The RGS has an anti-roping design cutter system, and a silicon bronze, multi-vane semi-open impeller with pump-out vanes for mechanical seal protection. The RGS has a heavy duty cast iron, volute type casing for high efficiency. The motor is fully submerged in a high grade turbine oil-filled chamber for more efficient heat dissipation, permanent lubrication of bearing and mechanical seals, and protection against outside environment. The motor’s shaft is 300 series Stainless Steel with a short overhang for minimum shaft deflection. O-Rings assure positive sealing against contaminants and oil leakage. The power cable is severe duty rated, oil and water resistant, with a epoxy seal on the motor end providing a second moisture barrier in case of outer jacket damage and to prevent oil wicking. Pump ratings are within the motor manufacturer's recommended working limits, can be operated continuously without damage when fully submerged. Maybe used with optional guide rail.

GOULDS e-GS 35GS – 85GS 4″ High Capacity Submersible Pumps

FEATURES

Powered for Continuous Operation: All ratings are within the working limits of the motor as recommended by the motor manufacturer. Pump can be operated continuously without damage to the motor.

Field Serviceable: Units have left hand threads and are field serviceable with common tools and readily available repair parts.

Sand Handling Design: Our face clearance, floating impeller stack has proven itself for over 50 years as a superior sand handling, durable pump design.

FDA Compliant Non-Metallic Parts: Impellers, diffusers and bearing spiders are constructed of glass filled engineered composites. They are corrosion resistant and non-toxic.

Discharge Head/Check Valve: Cast 303 stainless steel for strength and durability. Two cast-in safety line loops for installer convenience. The built-in check valve is constructed of stainless steel and FDA compliant BUNA rubber for abrasion resistance and quiet operation.

Motor Adapter: Cast 303 stainless steel for rigid, accurate alignment of pump and motor. Easy access to motor mounting nuts using standard open end wrench.

Stainless Steel Casing: Polished stainless steel is strong and corrosion resistant. Hex Shaft Design: Six sided shafts for positive impeller drive.

Engineered Polymer Bearings: The proprietary, engineered polymer bearing material is strong and resistant to abrasion and wear. The enclosed upper bearing is mounted in a durable Noryl® bearing spider for excellent abrasion resistance.

Connects to any pump with a 3”, 150# ANSI flanged discharge.
Outlet is a 4” flanged discharge.

Goulds Centripro Float Switches

TERMS TO KNOW
Pump Switches are used to directly control the operation of a pump. They are normally wide-angle switches
which means they operate over a range of approximately 70º to 90º. Pump switches are available with piggyback
plugs and with bare leads. Some can also be used with control panels.
Control Switches are designed to only control pumps when used with a control or alarm panel. They cannot
handle the high starting amps and running amperage of a pump, only signal or control amperage.
NO or Normally Open is a switch with contacts that are open in the hanging position. They are used to pump
down or empty a tank.
NC or Normally Closed is a switch with contacts that are closed in the hanging position. They are used to pump
up or fill a tank.
